The total patients have been examined or treated (159,921) patients.
(8) Patients have been operated in Kurdistan by Dr.Halkawt Nuri who studied and worked with the Italian team within agreement between Heevie and Italy and he is the first a surgeon in this specialization.
Also in this year (5) Patients treated by Heevie in Italy-Milan San Donato Hospital in cooperation with Associazione Cuore Fratello&SIA Org.
The statistics collected by Heevie from all Northern Governorates reached (8526) children suffering from CHD. In this year (479) Congenital Heart Diseases children patients from Duhok, Sulaymania, Kirkuk and Erbil have been examined by the Italian team and our local doctors who already have been sent to Italy for training.

Heevie Community Health Houses covers 14 villages in Ninewa governorate in Zummar and Rabiaa districts/ Talaafar / Ninewa): Masaka, Kalhe , Shebana, Ein Owaiz, Ein Jheshiya, Tal Musa, Hamad Agha, Iseka, Aliyouka , Um Al Rabiaain, Ali Abar , Che Khire, Sahel Hamad, and Tal Khidher villages. In addition to the above mentioned services, the following actions were performed:
The total consultation in the Clinic of Mam Rash Camp in this year is (35839) patients.
Heevie Organization is aiming to provide full package of services through its project, In this year the number of consultations is (9064)
Heevie since the beginning concentrated on building social relations between Kurdish society and the Italian one, some of the fundraisers in Italy who are interested in donations for sake of patient children descending from poor families, found Heevie as the ideal source to provide such help to the poor patient children in Kurdistan Region. In This year also some of the families of patients received donations for their children from Italy.
In Thursday 4/2/2016, and as a preparation for the community health houses project in Zumar and Rabiaa districts in the liberated areas, Heevie regulated a training course for the medical staff that will work in the project. During the course that took few hours, many of the medical and technical issues and issues related to the management of the community health houses were discussed. Those subjects were presented by the doctors and management staff of Heevie organization.
Heevie mobile medical team has seen 28 patients from the same family in Kahrez village in Zummar district with mainly respiratory and skin complaints and burns a result of exposure a bioterrorism event since there was a site of bomb near their house came from the areas under ISIS control.
The team saw the patients after being informed by Peshmarga forces in the region and in direct cooperation with them.
At Friday 18/3/2016, a delegation from Bring Hope Foundation headed by Dr. Mariwan visited Heevie office in Duhok, in a meeting the many subjects were discussed including the drugs and medical equipments dedicated by Bring Hope Foundation for Kurdistan people. The delegation highly valued the role of Heevie organization in the health field and treatment of patients.
At Saturday 20t March 2016, A delegation from Caritas German Commission visited Heevie organization in Duhok, in an expanded meeting activities of Heevie were discussed, including the supervision of the health center in Mam Rash IDPs camp who managed by Heevie.
Also to the relationship between the parties especially in the health field was discussed, including the German expertise and assistance in the field of health for Kurdistan and the training of doctors and medical staff.
Peshmarga, is the real guarantor of the security and protection of Kurdistan, they are in duty day and night and without tiredness and exhaustion in order to keep Kurdistan safe and secure.
In this field, our organization, and in cooperation with the DoH Dohuk, is providing health care services to Peshmerga forces in the front lines of the fighting in various areas such as Hugna, Sahal Al Hamad, Hardan and Nawaran. Heevie Organization teams supported by specialists in various fields, as well as medicines and medical equipment and supplies, continues to provide the health services to the heroic forces of Peshmerga.
At 9th and 31st July 2016 , an expanded meeting was regulated for Heevie organization medical and administrative staff in Heevie project of Community Health Houses was regulated. The meeting involved an explanation about the management of health houses and about the importance of the project and the important role Heevie organization is playing in providing the primary health care services to our people in the liberated areas and to the IDPs and refugees through its different projects.
In cooperation with DOH Duhok Heevie has distributed Chlorine tablets over our people many times for 23 villages in Zummar and Rabiaa districts. This activity was performed through Heevie project of Community Health Houses in 14 villages in the region.
As a continuation of the good relations and cooperation with all local and international organizations approach, Heevie organization began talks with GIZ foundation. In this field delegates from GIZ visited the number of Heevie projects and expressed their admiration for the quality of health services provided by the Organization, and showed their willingness to support the organization in its projects.
As a continuation of Heevie organization’s plans to provide primary health care services for IDPs, Heevie Mobile Medical Clinic supported by WHO and DoH Duhok is continuous to deliver primary health care services to 11 families (70 people) from our displaced people in Al-Dano village in Zammar district. Displaced families consist of 17 men, 24 women, and 29 children (five of them infants).
On Wednesday and Thursday, 16 and 17/11/2016, a delegation from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs OCHA, headed by Mr. Fikadu Tafa performed a field visit to Heevie Organization projects specially Mam Rash IDPs camp PHCC in Shekhan district, Hedhayma Village PHC and Amalla IDPs camp PHCC in Zummar district,During their visit, the delegation closely witnessed the progress of these projects and conducted multiple interviews with the projects’ staff and the beneficiaries. It is worth mentioning that a team from Heevie Organization gave OCHA team a detailed explanation about the stages of the projects, the obstacles that stand in their way, as well as the quality of health services provided.
On Wednesday, 12/14/2016, both Heevie Organization and GIZ signed a joint agreement between them; the agreement was for supporting supervision of health care services in Heevie PHCC within Mam Rash IDP camp in Shekhan district. The two sides expressed their happiness about the agreement and hoped that the cooperation will continue between them in order to provide better projects and better services for our people in the future, especially in the health field.
