7.Project: Supporting Shariya Primary Health Care Center in Semel District in Duhok Governorate

As a continuation for its programs to serve the IDPs in Duhok governorate, Heevie is running the PHCC within Shariya IDPs camp which has the capacity of more than 18,000 populations. Heevie did a valuable progress and development in the health service provision in the camp clinic.
The staff recruited by Heevie involves multiple medical specialties aiming to respond to nearly all the needs of the beneficiaries in the camp, this involved internist, pediatrician, general surgeon, obstetrician, urologist and ENT specialist, in addition to the dental and ultrasound services.
The project implementation has been passed through multiple phases and time periods according to the donors. The first 3 months of the year 2018 was supported by GIZ, during this period 15,178 patients got benefit from the services provided within the camp clinic.
