Heevie plans involved supporting the DOH Duhok to help minimizing the load on the exhausted local health facilities which are serving, in addition to the health host community, the IDPs and the refugees as well.

Heevie support involves staff training, provision of the necessary medications and supplies and renovations activities. One of the centers supported by Heevie is Duhok Specialized Center of Rheumatic Diseases and Medical Rehabilitation, within a project implemented by the support of GIZ.

The support is by extending the service provision hours, provision of raw materials for the prosthetic limp department and training of the physiotherapist in Italy in coordination with SIA organization from Italy. During 2017, around ( 6,021 ) patients have received physiotherapy and medical rehabilitation within the project.
