After liberation of many areas in the northern Ninewa regions, the provision of primary care services was an issue of concern for the local authorities and for the humanitarian community, especially that these regions show a process of returning back for many of its displaced people, and at the same time it provided a safe destination for the people escaping from the under ISIS control areas near to the region.

Heevie selected three of the main PHCCs in Zummar district to support within its plan for the year 2017, which are the clinics of Aski Mosul, Hedhayma and Tal Musa.

The project included doing expansion in the services to involve the full package of services in the 3 locations in addition to adding the required staff from doctors and medical staff to perform the required activities.

This project is being implemented by the support of UNOCHA and is providing the health care services for more than 30,000 populations in the region. In 2017, around ( 39,682 ) patients got benefit from the services provided by the project in the three targeted locations and as follows:
